This is 1st book of the 9 book dual language (English-French) series, My First Tennis Lessons. My First Tennis Lessons is a system that teaches all the tennis fundamentals by taking children on adventures with Emma, the main character in the stories. The children will be guided to perform a total of 32 animal rescue missions. In this book, Emma will lead children to different cities across the world to help a little dog find its lost mother. While traveling, the children will be required to perform 4 missions. Each mission requires learning a tennis stroke, with emphasis on the forehand volley, which they will be performing with ease because it is all a part of the story. Le Petit Tennis (LPT) is the brainchild of former ATP and WTA tennis pros, Jean Philippe and Sybile Fleurian. With their two daughters in mind, they founded Le Petit Tennis in 2001 with the goal of teaching tennis to very young children. They crafted the curriculum with sports psychologists, child development specialists and tennis trainers from the French Tennis Federation.

LPT is a visual story program that helps children ages 3-8 discover tennis through a series of engaging stories while traveling across countries and cultures. LPT uses adventure stories in tennis lessons to encourage children to play with imagination while becoming more intense in the drills.
